Just three days ago, gay porn star Collin Simpson revealed on Twitter that he’d be retiring from his work as a GayHoopla performer due to a drug addiction, admitting, “I have been struggling with addiction for the last few months…I’m currently in the process of getting help, but it’s too little too late.” Tonight, Collin Simpson took to Twitter again to tell fans that he’d be doing a live webcam show on Chaturbate, but that show was abruptly shut down after approximately 90 minutes, when live show viewers say that Simpson was “getting so high on crystal…he looked like he was going to die.”
One viewer sent in screencaps of Simpson during the broadcast—right after he allegedly “snorted crystal meth”—in which he appears extremely disoriented and not well (Str8UpGayPorn has chosen to not publish the screencaps here). In addition to the screencaps, the viewer left this comment about Simpson’s show tonight:
Did anyone just see Collin on Chaturbate getting so high on crystal. He looked like he was going to die. People were panicking online and didn’t know what to do. I hope he is ok….This tragedy happened live. He stepped away. Looks like he snorted crystal meth and came back high as a kite. People were sending panicked messages on how to help him.
While we did see the screencaps, Str8UpGayPorn did not view Simpson’s live show and can’t independently confirm any of the details in the comment above. But, Simpson’s Chaturbate account was banned tonight, likely after viewers reported Simpson’s alleged behavior during the live show.
In the moments after Simpson’s tweet alerting viewers that his live show had started, several fans watching the show replied in real time to express concern for Simpson. Fans tweeted to Simpson (as seen below) saying, “I hope someone is with him,” “bro…are you OK?” “That was really sad,” “Did he OD? What did he take?” and “I’m scared for you, please get help.”
Str8UpGayPorn has reached out to Chaturbate and Simpson for clarification and comment on why Simpson’s room was banned and what allegedly happened tonight, and this post will be updated if we receive a response.
